Fri, 23 Jun 2017 09:58:35 +0000 By CHARLES MUSONDA THE Kitwe High Court has granted Copperbelt Minerals Processing Company (CMPC) Limited, notoriously known as Jerabos, an interlocutory order of injunction allowing them access to the Black Mountain. The order, dated June 15, 2017 and signed by Judge Isaac Kamwendo, also prevents Nkana Alloy and Smelting Company Limited and Chinese owned Tianjin Maolin Technology Limited from interfering with CMPC’s interest in the slag dump. “The second and fourth defendants (Nkana Alloy and Smelting Company Limited and Tianjin Maolin Technology Limited) are hereby restrained by themselves, their servants or agents or whosoever is claiming authority under them, from interfering with the plaintiff (CMPC)’s quiet enjoyment of the Black Mountain pending the final determination of the matter by the Honourable Court or until such further order of the court,” Justice Kamwendo said.
