The team that met with Agriculture Minister at his office yesterday has shown keen interest in investing in the agriculture sector. And in receiving the delegation that was led by ZRB major shareholder Zeeve Zacharin, the minister said Government was in a hurry to see investment in the agriculture sector. Ms. Siliya said she hoped that the visit by the businessmen from Israel would help develop the agriculture sector. She cited development in irrigation technology as a way in which production of crops could be increased. “We want to see investment in irrigation and in the farm blocks. We have ten farm blocks and there is need for investment in infrastructure energy and technology to make them productive,” she said. […]
