Mr Chisha said the appointment of the commission would help the incorporation of the SDGs into a comprehensive national action plan. He said assimilating the SDGs in the existing National plan and contextualising them to our current economic and social hardships would help us build a viable national vision. “We appeal to President Edgar Lungu to appoint a commission to facilitate the integration of the SDGs into a comprehensive National action plan. “The country needs to identify which SDGs will apply to the major hardships we are facing as a nation and align them with our national plan for development,” Mr Chisha said.
