Fri, 06 Oct 2017 10:13:52 +0000 MINISTER of Lands Jean Kapata has given Lusaka residents who have encroached on road reserves a seven-day ultimatum to demolish their structures. Ms. Kapata says if the residents failed to comply, Government would move in and demolish them. The Minister was speaking when Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Ronald Chitotela toured L400 phase 2 road projects in Mandevu constituency. And Mr. Chitotela said Government was providing quality infrastructure that would stand the test of time. He said Government would continue to deliver to the people’s expectations despite continued negative criticism. Mr. Chitotela is happy with the progress and quality of works on Mungwi Road. Meanwhile, Matero Member of Parliament who is also Minister of Water Development and Sanitation Lloyd Kaziya said the road project would contribute to the country’s economic growth. – ZNBC.
