Mon, 20 Feb 2017 09:37:46 +0000 By AARON CHIYANZO THE Lusaka City Council (LCC) should remove people illegally repairing vehicles from parking areas along Freedom Way in the Central Business District of Lusaka because they have taken up most of the parking spaces, angry Lusaka residents have said. A Kanyama resident Alex Mumbi said that some people have been repairing vehicles from parking spaces along this busy avenue in the heart of Lusaka. Mr Mumbi, who is a mechanic, said that the north end of Lusaka’s Freedom Way was looking filthy because of the grease and oils from vehicles. He explained that they were repairing vehicles from the area because it was surrounded by auto shops and that they trapped clients from there.
