Kelvin Mutale, 38, of Chipata Overspill compound was testifying in a case in which his wife Ruth Mwila, 22, sued him for divorce. The two got married in 2008 and have five children though dowry has never been paid. Mwila told Senior Court Magistrates Miyanda Banda, Pauline Newa and Ronnie Shafwensha at Matero Local Court that when Mutale started having money he started flirting with other women and even spending nights with a woman he has known for seven years now. “There is no support, children are spending nights on empty stomachs but Mutale goes to eat at the same woman’s house,’’ said Mwila.
