This followed the recent infrastructure developments which have taken place in the area since the coming to power of the PF Government. Jerald Mutale, a retired teacher who has lived in the areas for over 25 years said high levels of vandalism was as a result of lack of exposure but the scenario was changing with so many people achieving some levels of education. “We were worried that these new street lights will be vandalized and destroyed by the locals, but it is not the case, “Our people are now educated and understand that public property belongs to them, the public and should be looked after well with care,” Mr Mutale said.
