Chief Chikwanda said that the UPND leader, Mr Hichilema should emulate former President Michael Sata who accepted the election results without causing havoc. He pointed out that the late President Sata had lost the elections twice but that he had to soldier on and fight another day for the sake of national peace even if he suspected foul play. Chief Chikwanda however said that the desperation being exhibited by the UPND leader to be at the helm was extremely shocking. He wondered why it was still hard for Mr Hichilema to accept the outcome of the last elections when all international observers, including SADC, had declared it free, fair and transparent. […]
