Mon, 22 May 2017 13:27:35 +0000 By ANNIE ZULU GOVERNMENT is determined to end poverty in Zambia particularly among women and girls, Minister of Community Development and Social Services Emerine Kabanshi has said. And Ms Kabanshi has handed over two vehicles to Lunga and Samfya districts to support the roll out of supporting women’s livelihood component of the girls’ education and women empowerment livelihood projects. She said Government had bought 11 vehicles for the 11 phase one implementation districts. She said to alleviate the current challenges of poverty, her ministry was focussing on programmes that would improve the livelihood of the extremely poor, especially women. Ms Kabanshi was speaking in Samfya yesterday during the handover of two vehicles to Lunga and Samfya districts.
