Tue, 11 Jul 2017 09:55:27 +0000 By JUSTINA MULENGA THE drilling case involving UNPD vice president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has been adjourned to 14th August 2017 as three other witnesses were not present before the Court. Mwamba and others accused of illegal drilling appeared before Lusaka Magistrate David Simusamba yesterday for mention. Among the 19 accused persons, 3 suspects were not present before court and the court was told that two of those absent were sick and that sick notes were on their way to be delivered before the Magistrate Court by their parents from the Copperbelt. Those who were sick included Alex Mulenga and Gerald Mtonga believed to be on the Copperbelt. Mwamba and others accused were charged with two counts of unlawful drilling when they were found performing acts of unlawful military training on persons without permission against the law.
