Mr Mwansa confirmed that there was a fire at one of the offices at the Ministry of Works and Supply due to many appliances which were connected to a single meter resulting in a power overload. He said the fire was quickly contained before it could spread to other offices by the Fire Brigade officers. “Yes its true there was a fire this was due to a lot of appliances which were connected to a single meter, so there was an overload but officers managed to contain the situation before it could spread to other offices,” he said.
