By NATION REPORTERTHE Esther Lungu Foundation Trust has donated farming inputs comprising fertilizer and maize seeds for winter farming to eight women cooperatives in Luangwa.Women in Luangwa cultivate an average of 500 hectares during winter farming.The Foundation donated the maize seeds and fertilizer to prepare for the winter farming season as Luangwa has already experienced flash floods, which have destroyed crops.Foundation Trust Programmes Coordinator, Mildred Chuumbwe, Chief Mphuka and Luangwa District Commissioner Julius Sikasote handed over the inputs to the women.
