Mon, 14 Jan 2013 14:14:54 +0000 Zaheeda Essa a former aide to Finance Bank Chairman Rajan Mathani is today expected to appear in court on charges of false swearing, giving false information to a public officer, criminal libel. This follows a complaint by Lusaka Lawyer Sakwiba Sikota who charged that Ms. Essa had repudiated earlier evidence and information of wrong doing by Dr. Mathani in the acquisition of shares in Zambezi Portland Cement and in his dealings with Raddison Blue hotel. She claimed that under hand methods were used in the dealings, but later reneged and repudiated the statement after allegedly being warned of losing benefits.
