The project dubbed Chris Aka Media and Arts Festival (CAMA) is planned to uplift cultural and arts standards in selected local communities. According to a statement from Aka who is the founder of the project, the initiative will be in an effort to promote community participation in media arts and culture. “We are launching this project to emphasize on the need to promote local arts and culture in communities which are not always in the limelight. This is purely a community project and will be used to identify talent, nurture it and promote it on a national level,” states Aka.
