Tue, 13 Dec 2016 14:33:03 +0000 By Aaron Chiyanzo FORMER deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mukondo Lungu has died and President Edgar Lungu says has learnt with deep sadness the passing away of former Lundazi Central member of Parliament during the reign of the MMD President Lungu said Mr Lungu’s distinguished service and significant contribution to the Republic of Zambia as a Civil Servant, Parliamentarian and consequently as Deputy Speaker in the 2011 to 2016 National Assembly session was a remarkable track record that would be greatly missed by the people of Zambia. President Lungu said in a letter of condolences to the bereaved family that the former Deputy Speaker’s loyalty and patriotism to Zambia, coupled with his humble character made it easy for him to work with others and deliver accordingly.
