In an interview with the Daily Nation, Pastor Kasengele, a clergyman on the Copperbelt, expressed concern on the tendency by some parliamentarians to boost their personal wealth at the expense of the electorate who ushered them into office. Pastor Kasengele said it was surprising that some parliamentarians from both the ruling PF and opposition parties were neglecting their constituencies. ”On the Copperbelt some of them have created artificial boundaries with the people who voted for them into office by settling in Lusaka and only come back to their constituencies during elections time soliciting for votes from the same people they have neglected,’ Pastor Kasengele said.
