The chain store was closed yesterday following an operation that was conducted in the Central business District (CBD) in view of the cholera outbreak in Lusaka and some other towns including Kitwe. Solwezi Municipal council Assistant Public Relations manager Esther Chirwa told the Daily Nation in an interview that the decision was arrived at after noticing that there was some sewer on the loan of the chain store. “So a preventative measure to avoid the possible outbreak of cholera we had no option but to close the chain store,” Ms Chirwa said.
