Nyirenda will seek to redeem himself and the entire senior national team after Zambia lost its first 2019 Cameroon Africa cup of Nations qualifier 1-0 to group K opponents Mozambique last Saturday. The friendly fixture will also present an opportunity for Chipolopolo head coach to win back soccer fans trust in him after fans questioned his tactical abilities in the 1-0 home defeat to Mozambique. Nyirenda has summoned a team of local players consisting of first time call-ups such as Lumwana Radiants’ goal keeper Charles Mweemba, Power Dynamos’s Billy Mutale and Napsa Stars’ Alex Mwamba.
