The tournament will run from January 12 to February 4, 2018. CHAN football tournament comprises players who ply their trade in the domestic league. This means that foreign-based players or professionals are not legible to feature in the tournament. It is another form of Africa Cup strictly for local players. The Wedson Nyirenda tutored side is in Group B alongside with Ivory Coast, Namibia and Swaziland. The Chipolopolo Boys are currently camping in Mongu of Western Province. The CHAN tournament will showcase crème de la crème of African football tournament. The tournament will not be easy as teams will be at their best striving to win the coveted trophy.
