The traditional leader expressed concern that although it was government’s policy to construct palaces for chiefs countrywide his palace had remained in a poor condition as well as the road leading to his official residence. Speaking through one of his subjects in an interview yesterday, Mr Chipunda described the chief’s palace as being tiny and not befitting his status. “We are concerned as the chiefs’ subjects that Chief Mutipula is living in a deplorable condition although it is government’s policy to construct palaces countrywide for traditional leaders and the other concern is that the road leading to his palace is impassable,” he said.
