Sat, 25 Mar 2017 12:30:08 +0000 SENIOR Chief Mujimanzovu of the Kaonde-speaking people in Mushindamo district has applauded Government for introducing social cash transfer in his chiefdom. The traditional leader said the introduction of the programme in his chiefdom was a welcome move because it would reduce poverty levels amongst the vulnerable people. He said the people in his chiefdom have never benefited from such programmes. “My people have just been hearing about this programme. So, I am very happy that now it has been introduced here in my chiefdom and the whole Mushindamo district,” he said. The traditional leader was speaking when Mushindamo district commissioner Benson Ngambo paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.
