The traditional leader said the introduction of the programme was a welcome move because it will reduce poverty levels among the vulnerable people. He said the people in his chiefdom have never benefited from such programmes despite the scheme being in existence for a long time. “My people have just been hearing about this programme. So I am very happy that now it has been introduced here in my chiefdom and the whole Mushindamo district,” he said. The traditional leader was speaking when Mushindamo district commissioner Benson Ngambo paid a courtesy call him at his palace.
