Mr Mushanga said a lot of intervention to contain the epidemic have been put in place by the medical office and the council in the province. He said the province has done well in containing cholera with four deaths out of the 76 cases recorded as of 2nd January, 2018 and the figures has not increased since the last case was recorded. “The cholera situation is under control. Figures are not escalating from the affected districts of Kabwe, Chibombo, Chisamba, Mumbwa, ,Luano and Serenje, “We have recorded 76 cumulative cases, 66 discharges and 4 deaths in the province as of 2nd January, 2018,” said Mr Mushanga.
