After a six -year absence from the continental competition, Buffaloes are determined to go beyond the Group stage. Today’s battle will be the first competitive match to be played at Al Masry home Port Said Stadium since it was recently reopened after a five-year closure. The facility was closed in February 2012 after the death of 72 supporters during clashes between fans and police in the wake of a local league match between Al Masry and Egyptian giants Al Ahly. Masry will be under pressure to give the fans a victorious re-opening of the stadium. On the other hand, Buffaloes coach Bilton Musonda said his charges are ready for battle and will not settle for anything less than victory. […]
