Speaking in an interview with Daily Nation Sports, coach Mwaba said the game of basketball has continued to improve as clubs have become very competitive. Mwaba said had it not been for the stiff competition, his team would have come out as runners-up or would have ended up winning the league. “The 2016 basketball league was tough for us as Green Buffaloes. We had planned to win the ZBA league but due to the stiff competition other teams gave us, we even failed to come out as runners-up, ‘’ Mwaba said.
