Mon, 30 Nov -0001 00:00:00 +0000 KANYAMA Compound is under lockdown THE Zambian Government has enforced a 6-to-6 curfew in Lusaka’s Kanyama Compound following escalating numbers of new cholera infections in the area despite numerous interventions put in place in efforts to contain the highly contagious water borne disease. This comes in view of continued street vending in the area especially after hours which was in defiance of regulation to ban open air trading and consumtion of such foods said to contain the deadly vibrio cholera germ.
