This is contained in a statement of claim filed before the Lusaka High Court in which Given Hankombo and 10 others have accused Mayuki Civil Contractors of having failed to pay them for works done for the Catholic school. “By virtue of a written contract dated 11th May, 2013 and entered between Chrispine Cheelo as proprietor of Mayuki Civil Contractors and Sister Lozario Sakayombo as sister in-charge of St. Joseph, (Mr Cheelo) and Prudence Chiyuka (proprietor of Mayuki Civil Contractor) were engaged by the school to build a school hall. “The School was completed in 2015 and the school gave the money to Mr Cheelo and Ms Chiyuka, but they neglected to give the complainants their share of the money amounting […]
