Dr Chilufya said this was to ensure adherence to Public Health Act and to stop further spread of Cholera. Dr Chilufya said there was need for schools and work places to adapt a proper washing culture as way of promoting proper hygiene standards. Dr Chilufya said soon a guideline document policy that had been adopted by Zambia Government called Health in all policy would be disseminated to ensure that people were protected from illness. He said the document would compel schools and work places to prioritise hygiene.
