Sat, 22 Jul 2017 10:39:17 +0000 By CHARLES MUSONDA A FEMALE teller at Banc ABC has appeared in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing over K60, 000 belonging to her employer. Mutale Mulenga, 29, of unknown house number in Avondale, Lusaka, has been slapped with one count of theft by servant contrary to section 272 and 278 of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence were that on May 19, 2017 in Lusaka, Mulenga, being a person employed by Banc ABC as a teller at Findeco House Branch, stole K60, 591 cash, the bank’s property. The money came into her possession on account of her employment. And two Zimbabwean women and a man appeared in the same court for aggravated robbery involving K6,000.
