Chitenge is admitted to the Children’s Hospital and his condition is said to be serious. Albino Foundation of Zambia president, John Chiti, confirmed to Daily Nation that the foundation provided transport money to enable the boy and his family travel to Lusaka for specialist treatment at the UTH. “We sent the family transport money to enable the boy travel to Lusaka for the needed treatment,” Mr. Chiti said. Cancer Diseases Hospital public relations officer Terrence Nyirongo confirmed Chitenge had been admitted to the Children’s Hospital for initial tests.
