Ms Katongo revealed that the Police post was closed due to the bad state of infrastructure and poor sanitary conditions coupled with a lack of running water. “The police post was in a poor state with cracked walls which are most likely to collapse and it has no water supply. This condition posed a hazard to the officers and the people that go to report cases there,” he said She said that the health inspectors had recommended the police post be demolished to avert a calamity.
