Police officers in Nanyuki town are detaining Esther Njeri, 36, who pulled her kids out of school claiming that education is satanic.The mother of two pulled her two kids; a 13-year-old girl in Form Two and an 8-year-old boy in primary schoolAccording to the area Chief who was flanked by village elders during the operation, the two children had not reported to school since school resumed in-person learning in early January.Ironically, Njeri holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and another one in Accounting.Her confused neighbours said she recently started warning friends and family that the end of the world was nigh, asking them to repent before the end of the year.She has also said that she is ready to face the law, comparing her tribulations to the Biblical Shadrack Meshack and Abednego.
