By CHARLES MUSONDAFOUR pupils of Twin Palm Secondary School have appeared in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly killing their fellow pupil of Kabulonga Boys Secondary School.The accused persons appeared yesterday before Lusaka Magistrate Nsunge Chanda for allegedly killing 17-year-old Ryan Phiri of Barlastone using golf sticks on December 4, 2020.They are Elvis Nsokolo, 19, of plot 51, Sable Road, Kabulonga, Mukela Sitali of 98 Malata, Kabulonga, Kanika Temwani of number 34 Teachers compound, Kabulonga, and Maurice Bowa of ALC 292 B, ZAF Twin Palm, all in Lusaka.The accused persons are scheduled to appear in court again today for explanation of the charge and possible committal to the High Court for trial.According to Police spokesperson Esther Katongo, police received a report of murder from Frank Phiri, 38 of Barlastone that his son Ryan was attacked and beaten by a group of pupils from Twin Palm Secondary School and later died at University Teaching Hospital the […]
