By JACKSON MAPAPAYIPOLICE in Solwezi have a 23-year-old farm worker for defiling a 12-year-old girl.North-Western Province Commissioner of Police, Joe Njase identified the suspect as Philip Makangwa a caretaker at Mwanangombe farm.The farm is near Kapijimpanga police post where the matter was reported by the victim’s father.Mr Njase said the incident occurred Thursday around 12:00 hours at the same farm.“We recorded defilement case in which a 12-year-old girl was defiled by a 23-year-old caretaker. The case was reported by the victim’s father,” Mr Njase said.Mr Njase said the victim was defiled from the perpetrator’s house and sustained painful private parts due to force exerted on her.“The perpetrator has since been arrested and will appear in court soon,” Mr Njase added.
