A Class 8 pupil in Kasibos village in Homa Bay has committed suicide after his father took away his mobile phone.The Class 8 pupil was discovered dead behind his parents house hours after his father refused to give him back his phoneAccording to reports, the boys father had taken away the phone to use it temporarily until he replaced his which was faulty.The pupil’s father was supposed to have bought a phone by Wednesday but did not hand the phone back as agreed.Rachuonyo North Sub county police commander Sara Chumo confirmed the incident but said no suicide note had been left behind.The body of the deceased was moved to the Kendu Adventist Hospital mortuary.Probe into the incident is underway.
