By KETRA KALUNGA THE country’s projected revenue loss of K5.7 billion as a result of the Covid-19 will reduce to K2 billion, Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Commissioner General Kingsley Chanda has said. Mr. Chanda said the authority from 2017 continued achieving its revenue target and even exceeding.He revealed that last month, ZRA went above its revenue target by K890 million and was optimist that it would exceed the amount this month.Mr Chanda said in September, the authority went above target by over 400 million and by almost 500 million in October 2020 which was remarkable.“Since 2017 ZRA has continually archived its target and even exceeded and we sustain our gains made so far and would have achieved more in the future with support from the Government, the union and its members,” he said.He made the revelations in Kabwe yesterday during the sixth quadrennial Zambia Revenue Authority Workers Union (ZRAWU) congress.Mr Chanda said despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the […]
