By KALOBWE BWALYAVICE President Inonge Wina has directed the Ministry of General Education to investigate the death of a pupil from Kabulonga Boys Secondary School who lost his life due to violence by fellow pupils.Ms Wina has also directed the ministry to apply stern measures aimed at addressing bullying and violence, among other vices in schools throughout the country.She has also demanded for a full action-taken report so that Government can begin to deal with such matters from the sources.Ms Wina said parents and teachers through the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) must take measures to curb such vices in future.The Vice President said this in a speech read for her by Justice Minister Given Lubinda at the commemoration of the Human Rights Day at Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka yesterday.She described the circumstances that led to the death of the pupil as barbaric because human dignity and rights, which underpin the declaration of human […]
