By MICHAEL MIYOBABarely a day after he was unveiled as Nkana FC head coach, Kelvin Kaindu picked his first win as team gaffer after the Kitwe giants beat city rivals Kitwe United 2-0 in a rescheduled week six fixture MTN/FAZ Super Division match at Nkana Stadium.Striker Idris Mbombo was the deference in the Kitwe derby as he scored a brace to propel Nkana to 12th on the 18-team Super Division table.Mbombo broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark after benefiting from a great pass from Duke Abuya to give Nkana the lead.The Nkana captain doubled the advantage in the 43rd minute when he took advantage of Kitwe United’s clumsy defending to give Nkana a 2-0 victory.The win in the Kitwe derby escalated Nkana to 11-points, on par with Kabwe Warriors and Green Eagles.Meanwhile Buildcon FC’s quest to open a three point lead at the summit of the league table suffered a major blow when they […]
