LARRY Mweetwa is wanted by the police for allegedly swindling UPND Dundumwezi Member of Parliament Edgar Sing’ombe and is also being sought for other criminal charges, Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo has disclosed.Mr Kampyongo has meanwhile clarified that Mr Mweetwa was sent back without his knowledge by the immigration officers at Kazungula Border because he engaged in political activities after using a British passport to enter Zambia.The Minister said had he been consulted by the immigration authorities, he would have advised them to allow Mr Mweetwa into the country so that he could answer various criminal charges.He explained that Dundumwezi MP had reported Mr Mweetwa at Matero police station for allegedly swindling him undisclosed amount of money.“On one hand, as a minister of Home Affairs I am aware that this gentleman is wanted by the police because, we have Zambian citizens who have complaints against him bordering on criminality.
