By PETER SICHALIMAZABUKA member of Parliament, Gary Nkombo has been accused of suppressing democracy in the recently held Western Province elections to install puppets to help him topple Hakainde Hichilema, former provincial chairman, Musangu Njamba has charged.Mr Njamba said UPND national chairperson for elections Garry Nkombo has continued to suppress democracy in the region so that he can have his puppets in position to support him at the national convention where he plans to challenge Mr Hichilema for the UPND presidency.Mr Njamba said Mr Nkombo as commissioner for provincial elections allowed ineligible people to vote.Mr Njamba said four districts petitioned the results of the district that have not been settled yet but were allowed to hold elections in the bush.Meanwhile, Mr Njamba has also accused UPND national women’s chairlady and the incoming provincial chairperson of segregation based on tribe.
