By ANDREW MUKOMAUNITED Party for National Development (UPND) in Southern Province will not to allow police to treat its leader Hakainde Hichilema like a criminal.Provincial Chairman, Billiard Makwembo, said that the police should not be summoning Mr Hichilema anytime they felt like as if he was a criminal.Mr Makwembo told the Daily Nation that the police were harassing the UPND leader because he had gained popularity.“As UPND in Southern Province, we are not going to let Mr Hakainde Hichilema to be treated like a common criminal, who can be summoned to police anyhow.
