By SANFROSSA MANYINDAUNITED Party for National Development (UPND) youths in Kitwe have vowed never to fight the police but cooperate with them for the sake of peace.The youth said they understood that police officers were working under difficult conditions that made them act the way they did hence the peaceful stance by the party.This was after UPND youths were stopped from marching during the independence celebrations in the city.According to the party members, police cancelled their scheduled march-past due to the large number of participants which was against one of the covid-19 health guidelines.“We will not fight the police back. We do not want to react but rather work with them because we know fighting them will not help us in any way,” UPND District Youth Chairperson Bowas Kapata said.
