By PETER SICHALIUPND Sesheke Member of Parliament Romeo Kang’ombe, has pleaded not guilty to abduction and two counts of assault on a police officer.Chinsali Senior Resident Magistrate, Julius Malata, has since granted Kang’ombe K200, 000 bail with two working suretiesKang’ombe, who is being represented by Mr Cornelius Mweetwa from the law firm of Muleza Mwiimbu and Associates, is alleged to have abducted and assaulted two police officers stationed at Mununga Police Post on October 14, this year. Mr Malata has adjourned to November 11 for mention and November 25, 2020 for commencement of trial.Kang’ombe was picked from Lusaka and driven to Muchinga division police headquarters and later detained.
