By CHARLES MUSONDAPARAMOUNT Chief Mpezeni of the Ngoni people has called on politicians to safeguard Zambia’s peace and unity ahead of the 2021 general elections.Chief Mpezeni has also appealed to fellow traditional leaders not to be divisive but to embrace and safeguard everyone.Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka yesterday, Chief Mpezeni appealed to politicians not to engage in campaigns of insults because use of vulgar language in unacceptable as it leads to violence.He called on fellow chiefs across Zambia to work with the government because they cannot work with a government that is not yet born.“The government of the day is the one responsible for provision of essential services like medical facilities, education and national development.
