By SANFROSSA MANYINDALUANSHYA Mayor Nathan Chanda has pledged to spend more than K50, 000 for the December 2020 Luanshya Got Talent show.Mr Chanda said that this was in a bid to promote talent among youths in the district and reduce moral decay among the young.The mayor observed that Luanshya had great talent that needed to be developed and promoted.“I urge young people to continue being part of such productive activities so that they could keep themselves busy and desist from engaging themselves in illicit activities,” he said.Mr Chanda, who is also Copperbelt PF chairman, said it was important to ensure that youths were encouraged to work hard and above all to be disciplined.He explained that it was the wish of Government that youths were not used as tools of political violence but as tools of development.Government, he said, had faith in young people and therefore took advantage of the favourable environment created in a quest […]
