By GRACE CHAILE-LESOETSATHE Attorney General has denied allegations of beating and kidnapping levelled against former State House aide Kaizer Zulu and others by four men in the Lusaka High Court.In this case, Bernard Nshindo, Sengelwayo Jere, Saul Masikoti who are qualified surveyors and businessmen, as well as, Mason Mweemba, a driver, sued Zulu and his two acquaintances; Kachingwe and Rashid.They sued for alleged beating and kidnapping on accusations that they were taking pictures of Zulu’s speed boat at Chita Lodge, in Kafue. Others sued are Chita Lodge Limited and Bella Mwanza, an employee of the lodge.The four are seeking damages for assault, false imprisonment and kidnapping.But the Attorney General Likando Kalaluka who is the sixth defendant in the matter in defence stated that on September 7 last year, Mr Zulu and his entourage brought and reported the four and an unknown person to Kafue Police station on accusation of having fired a gun at him.He […]
