By SILUMESI MALUMOPRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has directed Tourism and Arts minister, Ronald Chitotela to promote the Department of National Parks and Wildlife officer, Innocent Ng’ombwa who captured the stray lioness in Chilanga this week to Principal Veterinary Officer.President Lungu said Dr Ng’ombwa saved many lives.Mr Chitotela said this yesterday when he toured Munda Wanga.He said that President Lungu had called for the immediate promotion of Dr Ng’ombwa. Mr. Chitotela disclosed that the Head of State said the act by Dr. Ng’ombwa was brave because he sacrificed his time and put his life on the line to rescue the people of Chilanga from the lioness.And Dr. Ng’ombwa has thanked President Lungu and the ministry for his promotion.
