By OLIVER SAMBOKOZAMBIA has recorded five more Covid-19 cases bringing the cumulative number to 57 confirmed cases in the country, Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya has announced.He said yesterday at a press briefing that all the five cases were from the 124 tests conducted in the Kafue operation during the lockdown.Dr Chilufya said the five new cases involved a 3- year-old female, 36-year-old male from from Shikoswe compound, eight-year -old- boy, a 54- year- old man from Nangongwe and a 56 -year -old female from Kafue East.He said investigations had been constituted to establish all traces and contacts of all positive cases to stop the spread of the virus.Dr Chilufya said mass screening and targeted testing in Kafue was going to continue and disclosed that the Ministry of Health was going to carry out specific screening in Lusaka following reported cases in Marrapodi, Makeni and at Chilenje Hospital.“Let’s stay home.
