By ROGERS KALEROTHE Zambia Chinese Association Copperbelt Chapter has donated 500 face masks and 50 hand sanitisers to Kitwe-based media institutions to use while carrying out various assignments in their line of duty.Chapter President, Wang Xin, said the journalist were at risk of contracting the covid-19 because of their nature of job, hence it was imperative that they were equipped with face masks and hand sanitizers.Mr Wang said the media had a critical role to play in disseminating information and sensitizing communities regarding Covid-19.“You the media, you should help with information that will help people on how to prevent the spread of Covid-19. You have a huge task and in carrying out your duties, you may get exposed to this disease.“This is why we thought we should donate these face masks and hand sanitizers worth K8,500.
