By OLIVER SAMBOKOONE more person has been discharged from COVID-19 isolation Centre in Lusaka bringing the total number of the people that have recovered to three, Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya disclosed yesterday at a press briefing.He said the number of active cases now stands at 35, and that country had continued to making steady progress in ensuring that citizens remain safe which had resulted in the country not recording any new cases in the last 72 hours.Dr Chilufya said new stringent measures had been enforced to ensure that there was increased surveillance and announced that due to the reported positive COVID-19 case in Malawi, the screening will be enhanced in Eastern Province at the Mwami border.He also disclosed that Government had declared the new residence at the University of Zambia great east road, as a quarantine Centre for truck drivers bringing essential supplies in the country.Dr Chilufya said his ministry working with ministries of Communication […]
